This year 2011 they wanted to broadcast tips and tradition of how Chinese celebration their new year and the meanings of it. Therefore I was invited to be their guest speaker for the host to interview me about what are the things that Chinese do during the new year time and what are the "pantang larang" the taboo behind such practice.
Things like why Chinese will give mandarin oranges when visiting friend and relatives during Chinese New Year time and what is the meaning behind it. Why Chinese believe that sweeping floor on the first day of the Chinese New Year is bad luck for them? Why Chinese like to burn fire crackers to celebrate their new year? Why Chinese like to wear red during Chinese New Year?
After the recording, we had a group photo, producer and DJ Rina.
